お誕生日おめでとうございますtakuyaくん！！

Okay, I was half an hour over time on this, but the 9th February was the birthday of Takuya, An Cafe's guitasirt. I can't wait to see them again in March! They were awesome last time :love:

This drawing, oh my GOD took longer than I expected. I knew that those stripes would take AGES but I had no idea... The entire drawing took four hours and twenty minutes. I drew the collar/tie section separately, but the rest of the shirt/arms/badges/whatever took an hour and forty minutes and that was after I'd already outlined it all! It was insane. My wrist hurt so much... I had trouble with his hair too, got lost so many times. That and his nose started out SO BADLY (as ever) but I'm still not pleased with it. I'm not pleased with his lips either because they aren't right but I really don't want to play with them. I could do with edging the stripes a little but I just plain don't want to. And I'm not happy with his left eye, the darker one, but I swear it looks odd on the photo too, so nothing I can do.

Sorry if that was full of typos, I took out the ones I spotted, but my hands don't really work after all those stripes.

I am very pleased with this though, don't get me wrong, I'm just shattered now!

Happy birthday Takuya! and again ... lovely!i bet the striped took a while but i think it was worth it they look great! and i like his nose too. like the eyes too...especially the one that is in the open. Over all wonderful job :D

and have you seen Takuya in their new pv? he looks so different!! totaly awesome though.

Thanks, I really like that eye too :D And which particular PV? I saw a photo of him in the An Cafe blog the other day and his hair is so LONG now! Looked really different
